Laurie's background is in English and Education. She has taught high school English and worked in university settings. She enjoys literature, photography, and, of course, scrapbooking. The originator of the idea for Scrap Ease, Laurie has helped to design what she hopes is a fun and useful application.

Matt holds degrees in Art and in Computer Information Systems. He is the programming skill behind Scrap Ease. Matt spent several years as a system adminstrator, a programmer, and an independent business systems consultant. He brings his technical and business experience to the project and works diligently under the ever-cracking whip of taskmaster Laurie. Matt likes fantasy novels, comic books, and martial arts. He is a geek.

Mirabella came into our lives just in time for Thanksgiving of 2006. We are certainly thankful to have her, despite the lack of sleep! She is the bright joy that lights our day and makes us laugh at all the little things that a busy day might cause you to miss.

Emma is a six-year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and, like her namesake, she is pretty and spoiled but has an endearingly sweet disposition. She likes having her belly rubbed, playing with cat toys (they're more her size), and taking naps on the softest pillows and cushions she can find. Emma has helped launch Scrap Ease by gamely serving as the subject of a ridiculous number of photos and by giving kisses of encouragement on a daily basis.

Aimee is a four-year old cat. While less willing to be photographed than her older sister, Aimee has endured the whirs and flashes of the camera with an attitude of only mild disdain. She much prefers helping out in other ways, particularly by keeping Matt's lap warm while he programs.
